Will AI replace our jobs?

Will AI be so efficient that it will be able to replace most human jobs and leave people jobless? This is a scenario that most people fear. But it’s very likely that AI won’t replace our jobs, we will just need to work with it rather than against it.

What is certain is that some jobs will definitely be replaced by AI. Let’s take for example Digital Assistants or Customer Service Assistants responding to shoppers’ queries online. These kind of jobs will most certainly be replaced by AI Chat Bots. And this has already started. AI Chat Bots are being trained to respond like humans in order to have a real human conversation using a process called NLP (Natural Language Processing). With this NLP, we won’t even see the differences between talking to Chat Bot vs a human. These jobs will slowly but surely be replaced by AI.

Yet, new jobs will alternatively be created. AI engineers, AI developers, AI product managers… the list goes on and on! Jobs will change and new roles will appear. Businesses will have to adapt to this changing economy in order to survive and stay profitable. And this is not the first time this is happening. This is exactly what happened a few years ago when Computers where created. Jobs like Typists that were in high demand disappeared. Others were created. See more info about that here
