Top 5 updates about 'AI Safety Summit'

On the 1st & 2nd of November 2023 will be held the ‘AI Safety Summit’ in London at Bletchley Park. Here is what you need to know:

1 - This event is organised by Rishi Sunak

2 - This is seen as the 1st global event to talk about a technology that could change the future of all citizens

3 - The UK Prime Minister believes this technology will change the world and political leaders need to do something about it and set up rules on how to use it

4 - This summit will share the risks of using AI and how it can have an impact on human’s daily work. For e.g., OpenAI’s GPT3 & GPT4, even though they have huge benefits, they still have dangerous capabilities that shouldn’t be underestimated

5 - Many questions are going to be raised during the Summit. Some regarding the potential threats: ‘Does AI pose an extinction level threat to humankind?’ But also questions regarding its strength in some areas, like in the medical space: ‘Is AI a force that would be able to develop new drugs and cure diseases?’ etc…
